Riverside Canoes Opens for the Season

April 30, 2008

Riverside Canoe Trips will open for the season on Thursday, May 1st. Spring is a great time to explore the Platte River and enjoy the return of warmer weather. Located on M-22 in Benzie County at the edge of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, Riverside sits along the Platte River and offers guests tours on the Upper and Lower Platte. Their souvenir shop has everything you need from lotions, to snacks, to clothing and memorabilia.

We recommend you dress in layers this time of year, and bring a change of clothing should you get wet along the way. Fisherman will also find Riverside a great resource for lures, bait and tips on the hot places. This season check our website for fishing reports sponsored by Riverside Canoes.

Make a day trip to Honor and visit Riverside Canoes. For more information, and a map to their location visit Riverside on our attractions page, stop by their website, or give them a call at 231.325.5622
