 15th Annual Bridal Show in Traverse City

The Downtown Bridal Show returns on Sunday, January 4, 2009. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend the Park Place Dome from noon – 4pm. Area vendors will feature reception facilities, photography, dj’s, wedding invitations, flowers, decoration and more. A bridal fashion show wil feature the latest trends in wedding attire from To Have & To Hold Bridal Boutique and Formal Wear, Captain’s Quarters and Bay Bridal Boutique.

Shop Men’s Night Downtown 12-18

Downtown Traverse City Features Men’s Night Shopping

Every year Downtown Traverse City hosts a special evening for all the men. The stores are open late and offer specials for all those last minute shoppers. With live entertainment, fashion shows, free hors d’oeuvres and drinks, who wouldn’t want to be there. I know my husband and his friends make it their annual tradition.

My advice to the ladies…make a wish list at Miner’s North, drop him off at Right Brain Brewery for a little pre-shopping libation, and don’t wait up! Guys, have fun tonight, and bring a designated driver.

Wellington Inn Old-Fashioned Christmas

Experience an old fashioned Christmas at this beautifully restored 1905 neoclassical mansion in Traverse City’s historic Boardman neighborhood.

December 5 & 6 from 5pm - 8pm
December 7 from 1pm - 4pm

Area florists and artisans have ‘decked the halls’ with a spectacular display of holiday designs and decorations.

  • Tour the entire Mansion while enjoying holiday entertainment by local musicians.
  • Enjoy refreshments provided by local businesses in the third floor ballroom.
  • Many displays will be available for purchase through participating designers.
  • Tickets are $15 at the door.
